Goldfields South , an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales was created in 1859 and abolished in 1880.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3]

The Committee of Elections and Qualifications held that the appointment of
Ezekiel Baker to conduct a
Royal Commission into the goldfields meant that he held an office of profit under the crown and his election was declared void.
